Choice of Weights
Choose a 9kg base if you’re using your half parasol in conjunction with a table. If you’re using it without the stability of a table, opt for a heavier 15kg base for added strength and stability.
Resin Material
The base is made from durable resin which is waterproof and resistant to weathering and aging. It’s also less likely to chip or crack than a base from concrete and other materials.
Decorative Design
The base is coloured contemporary black to complement a range of garden colours schemes. Its decorative floral pattern makes it a more attractive choice than a plain parasol base.
Protective Gliders
Protective gliders on the bottom of the base help to protect your patio, decking, or balcony from scratches. Because they’re slightly elevated, they also minimise water build-up and mildew.

Keep your half parasol stable and secure with our half parasol base. The semi-circular base is made from weatherproof resin with an attractive floral pattern and is compatible with any half parasol that has a 38mm or 48mm diameter pole, including Christow’s very own half parasol.
The base is available with a weight of 9kg or 15kg. The 9kg base provides ample stability if you’re using your parasol in conjunction with a table. If you aren’t using your parasol with the extra stability of a table, opt for a 15kg base which is heavier to keep it sufficiently weighted.
The base is made from hardwearing resin which is waterproof and resistant to weathering and aging. It’s more durable than the majority of base materials – such as concrete, which can easily chip or crack – making it a long-lasting addition to a patio, decking, or balcony area.
We’ve designed the parasol base with a moulded floral pattern for a stylish, decorative look. This makes it a more attractive option than a plain base. The base is also coloured contemporary black to complement a wide range of garden colour schemes and furniture styles.
The base has three gliders on the bottom to protect the floor of your balcony, patio, or decking from scratches. The gliders also help to keep it slightly elevated from the ground which helps to stop water building up beneath it and protect your patio or decking from moss and mildew.
Each base comes with two adaptors which can be placed inside the tube to secure your parasol and prevent it wobbling in the wind. The 38mm adaptor is suitable for parasols with a 38mm diameter pole while the 48mm adaptor is suitable for parasols with a 48mm pole.
The half parasol base has a semi-circular shape to take up half the space of a normal parasol base. Because it’s flat on one side, it’s perfect for placing flat against a fence or wall to support a half-sized parasol. However, due to its size, it isn’t suitable for using with a full-sized parasol.
No tools are required to assemble the base and an informative instruction manual is included to set it up in minutes. Because both bases are relatively lightweight at 9kg and 15kg, they’re easy to pick up when you want to move your half parasol around your garden.
