UV Stabilised Polycarbonate
The cold frame has polycarbonate windows which are UV-stabilised to prevent them discolouring and warping in the sunlight. They also protect your crops from harmful UV rays.

Every side of the frame has a window to provide your crops with sunlight regardless of the direction it’s facing. The windows diffuse light better than glass to provide optimum sunlight.
Double Hinged Lid
The frame has a double hinged lid which you can open up to increase the level of ventilation. Steel sliding lifts allow you to open the lid as wide as you want without the need to prop it open.
Slanted Roof With Holes
Because the frame is taller at the back and lower at the front, it has a sloping roof for easy drainage. The lid also has drainage holes to stop the rain and snow building up at the bottom.
Built-in Ground Supports
The frame comes with two base plates which can be fixed to the bottom to use as ground supports. Holes allow you to peg them down to keep the frame weighted in stormy weather.

We’ve designed the cold frame with durable polycarbonate windows which are UV-stabilised to prevent them bowing or warping in the sun. Plus, it helps to keep them well protected from fading and discolouration when exposed to the sun’s harmful UV rays.
Every side of the frame is fitted with a polycarbonate window, so crops and plants can absorb sunlight regardless of the direction the frame is facing. Polycarbonate also diffuses light better than glass to create a perfect microclimate and provide your plants with optimum sunlight.
The cold frame has a double hinged lid which you can open up to easily increase the level of ventilation and prevent your crops from overheating on hot, sunny days. Steel sliding lifts allow you to open the lid as little or as wide as you want to without the need to prop it open.
