This Fan-Shaped 4-Piece Cantilever Parasol Base from Christow is perfect for stabilising cantilever and banana parasols with a cross-base height of 4.5cm to 6cm. The base consists of four parts which form an attractive fan shape when fitted together. Each part of the base can be filled with water or sand to provide your parasol with strength and stability. When filled with water, each part weighs 13kg with a combined weight of 52kg. When filled with sand, each part weighs 16.5kg with a combined weight of 66kg. The base is made from weather-resistant, high-density polyethylene for long-lasting use. Metal U-locks allow you to secure all four parts of the base together and prevent them moving around. The U-locks can only be used to secure parasols with a cross-base height of 6cm. They cannot be used to secure parasols that have a cross-base height that is less than 6cm. Size of each individual section: 48cm x 48cm x 7.5cm.

Key Information
Our Cantilever Base Weights can be filled to a weight of 66kg to provide your parasol with the utmost support and stability. The base weights are moulded from high-density, weather-resistant polyethylene to protect them from damage and the Great British weather.
Simply fill the weights with water or sand before pushing them tightly against the cross-base of your parasol (see image). The weights form an attractive pattern when pushed together and are suitable for securing cantilever parasols with a cross-base height of 4.5cm to 6cm.
The weights are supplied with 4 metal U-locks which can be used to secure them together and keep them firmly in place. The U-locks are only compatible with parasols that have a cross-base height of 6cm. If your parasol has a 4.5cm cross-base, you’ll have to leave the U-locks off.
Each weight contains a removable screw cap to easily fill with sand or water and protect them from leakages. We’ve also designed the weights with holes on the bottom to increase air flow. This helps to stop mildew building up beneath the weights to protect your patio or decking.
The weights are heavier when filled with sand than they are with water. When filled with water, each weight weighs 13kg with a combined weight of 52kg. When filled with sand, each weight weighs 16.5kg with a total weight of 66kg. You can also fill them with a mix of water and sand.
We’ve designed each weight with a moulded handle on the bottom. This allows you to easily pick them up and move them around if you’re moving your parasol to a different part of your garden. It also makes them easier to store away when packing your parasol away for the winter.
